Tekst fra sælger i USA da jeg købte bilen i 2006:

I bought this "Stang" about 1.5 years ago from a guy in Philadelphia on Ebay. As an avid collector I've had my feelings hurt more than once on Ebay purchases. This car is the shining example of the most pleasant surprise I've experienced with respect to an Ebay purchase. This is a 1 of 10 1973 power window Q code Mach 1 that started restoration as an all metal car. It was purpose built to race and saw time at Pocono Raceway. I've got some pics of it on the track that will convey to the winning bidder. I've also got receipts for about $28,000 in parts used during the restoration. The appeal for me with this "Stang" is that it's a totally streetable car - with an ultra light clutch, power steering and power brakes it's easy to cruise anywhere in. However, it is stunningly fast and pulls right through 6000rpm where the shift light is set. Now please note that I've had many fast cars including a big block Cobra, the 928s you see in my garage that has a Chevy 454 engine and the RUF 930 also in my garage - put simply, I know what fast is and this Mach 1 is truly fast. Additionally, at about 3700 lbs it also stops and turns with authority with nice driver feedback. It's a muscle car with European characteristics. Here's a brief overview of the build: 574HP at engine, 467HP at wheel, 351C block blueprinted and balanced rotating assembly, forged pistons, rods and crank, Fully ported and polished DOVE heads with port plates, roller rockers, and a radical cam with a great lope (236 duration, 570 lift). Topped off with a Holley 750 double pumper. All AN fittings on fuel lines, oil cooler and power steering cooler. Four pass heavy duty radiator with electric fan. Runs cool on the hottest days. Center force clutch, four speed close ratio Top-loader trans. Moser road race axles, Auburn Limited slip rear, Triangulated differential housing, four wheel SSB road race brake set up with proportioning valve. Super Trapp exhaust that sounds very aggressive -muffler inserts convey if you want it quieter - it will still be loud though. Bolt in roll bar with rear support bars, race seats, 5 point race harnesses. A large portion of the build on this Stang was directed toward the suspension. It has a negative camber kit, front and rear sway bars, sub-frame connectors, braced rear differential, triangulated engine compartment and shock towers, lowered and four wheel aligned, 17 inch modern Bullitt Wheels with new sticky tires, (A set of four staggered road race tires/ slicks with wheels to convey) There's just so much to this car I'm forgetting or leaving lots of little stuff out. $5,500 Grabber Orange paint job - marred with some road rash from the racing slicks on the rockers and lower front of the rear quarters. Carpet, Gaskets, headliner, all in excellent shape or new, missing power window switch bezel for drivers door - really hard to find as the switch cluster has five toggles and they only made ten of these in '73. Probably shared with another Ford - maybe T-Birds but I haven't been able to find one. Lots of extra parts to convey - drive it anywhere (On dry roads). All systems are working as they should, great oil pressure - no leaks - very finished and well sorted car. No disappointments or surprises with this car. I'm an avid collector not a dealer so rest assured this is my car in my name in my garage. I value transactions that are pleasant and fair for both sides more than gaining a premium for one of my cars. No overseas bidders please. Scammers please stay away. Real car guys bring it on - this is a special vehicle.
